Already a Passholder? Here is how to get set up in the new system:

Veterans who already have their Lifetime Veteran Pass for Wyoming State Parks need to folow these steps to set up their pass in the new reservation system:
  • Create an account at Reserve.Wyoming.Gov.
  • Click on LIFETIME VETERAN APPLICATION, and start the application process.
  • Instead of uploading the required documents, upload an image showing the front and back of your current pass card.
  • Submit your application.
  • You will receive an Application Approved email confirmation once we have registered the pass under your account. You can begin using it immediately for reservation discounts.

  • Covers all day use and camping fees for the passholder for life, so long as they are a Wyoming resident.
  • Available to Veterans who are Wyoming residents and with a service-connected disability rating of 50% or more.
  • Qualifying veterans may apply by submitting the application through the link on this page.  Applications may also be submitted in person, or by mail via Wyo Parks Headquarters at 2301 Central Ave., Cheyenne, WY, 82002.
  • The permit shall be valid for the veteran passholder and all occupants of their vehicle.
  • Wyoming resident veterans will be required to show the lifetime permit as well as photo identification to gain access to all Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites.
  • The lifetime permit shall be displayed so that it is visible in the lower driver’s side windshield of the vehicle for the duration of the stay at any Wyoming state park or historic site.
  • In the event of a damaged, lost or stolen permit, contact the Cheyenne headquarters office. For a damaged permit return the permit to the Cheyenne office and a replacement permit will be issued. If lost or stolen, contact the Cheyenne office and the permit will be voided and a new permit issued.
  • A lifetime permit holder may purchase annual permits for vehicles registered to their name or address.  These are available at the same rates as are charged for additional annual permits.  To purchase, the holder must visit a sales location in person and present their lifetime permit along with the registration of the additional vehicle.  Annual permits are only good for the calendar year indicated on the permit sticker.
